Dr. Stuckey has worked as a registered nurse for the past 31 years with an extensive professional background in healthcare environments including acute, long-term acute, skilled nursing, psychiatric, home health, hospice, public health, private insurance, educational, legal, community and residential settings. She is the first African-American nurse to earn a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from a historic women’s college, Mills College, where she served on the Board of Governors for six years.
