Karla spent her formative years in Garden District of New Orleans, an area where architecture, history culture and religion converge seamlessly. Riding the streetcar, watching parades, visiting parks, libraries, museums and Audubon exhibits greatly shaped her vision of what lifestyle choices are afforded with the purchase of a home. During her adolescence her family bought and sold homes in various markets throughout the US. This experience shaped her ability to understand the selection and negotiation process. In her adult life real estate investing has become her passion. Having come from a family where wise investing afforded her family many financial options, she has taken up the family business.
Having been a Girl Scout for much of Karla’s early life was training that has inspired her as a person and an agent. Simply put, “I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong and responsible for what I say and do and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, to make the world a better place and be a sister to every Girl Scout. “
